Busy morning
A few days ago Sophie experienced a busier morning than usual...which is pretty hard to do. She's on the move all the time unless she's sleeping. Anyway, her friend Naomi was over for a visit and Sophie wanted to preach the Word. Naomi loved it! She laid there and smiled and cooed at Sophie while she flipped through the pages of her Bible and jibber-jabbered. It was one of the cutest moments of Sophie's life.
Then, she placed her babies on the chair and preached to them.

They were such a good audience.
After that, she built a tower. The tallest she's ever built. It was pretty impressive.

We spent a few days in Arkansas with Matt's family for Thanksgiving. While we were there Sophie was able to indulge in a few new things.
Cream cheese frosting from our birthday carrot cake. She only stuck her finger in it 4 times.
We were working on "turkey" cookies for Thanksgiving. I couldn't even get the M&Ms on for eyes without Sophie snatching them. She also loved the feathers...
We made a purchase before we left for the 8 hour drive. Sophie was able to watch her Praise Baby on the drive, and it was such a nice time. No screaming or yelling or trying to get out of her car seat or headache. It was sweet!!! The funny thing about the pictures is that she's wearing her daddy's boxers. She thought she was something else!

Halloween
I'm only 1/2 a month late on posting. Why do my days go by so fast??
The cute little answer:
We attended Haunt the Zoo and stood in line a long time. Then we walked through the zoo really fast because Sophie was tired and cranky. So here is a picture of us in line.
Still standing in line. Her favorite part of the night was seeing Chick-fil-a cows and this crazy bird. She kept giving him high-5's and laughing, then putting her hands over her eyes (because that's what you do when you're hiding). It was really cute!

16 months
She still won't sit still for a picture, so once again, this was the best of the bunch. She's a busy body! Even with snotty nose and runny eyes - thanks Oklahoma allergies!
And this is what Daddy picked out for her to wear - isn't it lovely. At least she has a bow in her hair!! He stayed at home with her this morning while I worked for a few hours. He said she LOVED playing in the backyard independently!!

Sittie and Giddie's
This past week Sophie and I made the trip to Clinton to spend time with Sittie and Giddie. We cooked a little, ate a lot, and made some fun memories! This was the first time Sophie really played with them and boy, did they get a kick out of it!
Sophie loved Giddie's glasses...
Can't you tell?!
Giving Sittie a "high-five" for climbing up on the couch.

With the whole world being sick, we haven't done much lately as to avoid the plagues. So, here are some pictures of what this silly little monkey has been up to.
We enjoyed some time at the zoo with April, Grayson & Graham, Tosha & Lainey, and Roxie & Graham. I have to say, Sophie was the fussiest that day, but I guess everyone has an off day sometimes. She did enjoy the gorillas and acting like a "big" kid.

Here she is helping daddy water the new grass seeds.

15 months
Is she really old enough to be wearing my heels?? It seem like just last week Sutton (yes, my brother) was wearing my mom's heels and we were putting make-up on him! I don't think it left any type of emotional scars.
Anyway, all that to say, my baby girl is 15 months old, strong, and healthy! She's 30 in. long (or short) and weighs 21 lbs. The thing I'm most proud of is her head circumference - in the 95th percentile!! I knew she was smart!
And she's all over creation!!!
