LATE!! But it's something...right??!
Well, Christmas has come and gone, along with New Year's, MLK, President's Day, Valentine's Day...
And I'm just now getting around to posting pictures. I'm such a slacker. So, brace yourself. There are a lot of pictures. And, of course they are in no order - sometimes I get so frustrated with the blogger thing - it won't let me upload more than 5 at a time and it's in backwards order and blah, blah, blah. So, you see my frustration and why I sometimes protest and wait days (or months) to blog??
Here is the how Christmas ended - Sophie wearing a new hoodie, talking on her phone and pushing Baby in his/her stroller.
Matt's family came for a couple of days after Christmas. Sophie got a new, noisy phone, among other fun things. Like, chocolate!

In case you forgot, it snowed a bajillion inches in Oklahoma on Christmas Eve. It stayed on our yard for about 2 weeks!
These pictures are from Clinton with my dad's family.
She loves the camera

and holding babies.
These are from Christmas Day at my parent's house. Soph got a "real-life"baby. It cries and eats and sucks a pacifier. Thank Goodness it doesn't poop.

new shoes!

18 months!!
I can't believe it, can you?? She's such a big girl! We went to the Dr. this morning and it was awful!! Sophie screamed as soon as he walked in the door and didn't stop until he left. We didn't even do shots! He said everything looks good; she's 31 1/2" (50 %), 22.8# (25%), and head circumference is in the 95%! I have a prissy, petite girl with a noggin!

Busy morning
A few days ago Sophie experienced a busier morning than usual...which is pretty hard to do. She's on the move all the time unless she's sleeping. Anyway, her friend Naomi was over for a visit and Sophie wanted to preach the Word. Naomi loved it! She laid there and smiled and cooed at Sophie while she flipped through the pages of her Bible and jibber-jabbered. It was one of the cutest moments of Sophie's life.
Then, she placed her babies on the chair and preached to them.

They were such a good audience.
After that, she built a tower. The tallest she's ever built. It was pretty impressive.

We spent a few days in Arkansas with Matt's family for Thanksgiving. While we were there Sophie was able to indulge in a few new things.
Cream cheese frosting from our birthday carrot cake. She only stuck her finger in it 4 times.
We were working on "turkey" cookies for Thanksgiving. I couldn't even get the M&Ms on for eyes without Sophie snatching them. She also loved the feathers...
We made a purchase before we left for the 8 hour drive. Sophie was able to watch her Praise Baby on the drive, and it was such a nice time. No screaming or yelling or trying to get out of her car seat or headache. It was sweet!!! The funny thing about the pictures is that she's wearing her daddy's boxers. She thought she was something else!

Halloween
I'm only 1/2 a month late on posting. Why do my days go by so fast??
The cute little answer:
We attended Haunt the Zoo and stood in line a long time. Then we walked through the zoo really fast because Sophie was tired and cranky. So here is a picture of us in line.
Still standing in line. Her favorite part of the night was seeing Chick-fil-a cows and this crazy bird. She kept giving him high-5's and laughing, then putting her hands over her eyes (because that's what you do when you're hiding). It was really cute!
