Sophie started swim lessons today! She had so much fun. We played splash mom and dad in the face, kick the water, lay on your back, grab toys, and tried to teach her to "jump" into the water. She did really well and laughed at the other kids when they would splash around.
I just love her swimsuit! I wish they had one in my size...I'm without suit, so I was the only geek in a t-shirt.
She kind of acts like she just wants me to let go so she can take off. We tried blowing bubbles in the water, but that didn't go over well. She swallowed some nasty, germ-infested water and choked...so I don't think she'll be paddling on her own anytime soon.
P.S. She started crawling this week. And standing at the table and pulling items off...maybe I'll be able to fit into a swimsuit after chasing her for a couple of weeks!
